How Treatment Works
Your skin is first cleansed, and a numbing cream is applied for comfort. To enhance results, we use collagen-stimulating serums — such as hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, or pigmentation-correcting formulas — during the procedure.
A handheld Dermapen device equipped with a sterile, disposable tip containing 12 micro-needles is then used to gently pierce the skin at a precise 90-degree angle. Our device’s adjustable needle depth and multi-speed technology allow for tailored treatment, improving the skin’s natural absorption of active ingredients.
Afterward, soothing serums like vitamin C or hyaluronic acid are applied to hydrate, protect, and support the skin’s healing process.
Results and Downtime
Most patients experience mild redness and swelling similar to a light sunburn for 24–48 hours. Some pinpoint bleeding or slight bruising may occur. Within one to two weeks, your skin will appear smoother, brighter, and more refined — though the most dramatic results develop gradually over several months as collagen continues to rebuild.
The initial redness typically fades quickly, often settling into a pink tone within hours. To reduce any lingering redness, we recommend applying hyaluronic acid post-treatment and protecting the skin with a zinc-based sunscreen. Mineral makeup can safely be used after the procedure.
