How AviClear Works

The laser lights emitted by the AviClear treatment handpiece suppresses sebaceous glands, the glands in the skin the produce oil. Acne forms when oil and dead skin cells collect, clogging your pores and allowing bacteria to build up. AviClear treats acne at the source by focusing on reducing the production of sebum.

For full effect, 3 AviClear treatments are needed. Your treatment appointments will be spaced out about 4 to 6 weeks and each treatment appointment lasts under an hour. AviClear is an extremely convenient and comprehensive way to treat acne, far better than over-the-counter creams and without the risks of prescription medications.

Your AviClear Treatment

The AviClear device includes AviCool™ skin cooling technology to maximize comfort while the laser light energy is applied to the skin. The pulses of laser light may feel like a slight snapping against your skin, but you should not need pain medication or a topical pain reliever to feel comfortable throughout the treatment.

You should not have any serious post-treatment side effects and should not need to take time off following treatment. We will provide post-treatment instructions and schedule your follow-up visits at a convenient time.
