Chemical Peels
Rejuvenating and revitalizing your skin with the help of a chemical peel is one of the best and quickest ways to treat your skin to a refresh. It is effective in treating common skin disorders and slowing the visible signs of aging. But at what point does your skin need to be peeled?
The answer to this really depends on the state of your skin. If you are starting to have wrinkles, have acne or acne scars, skin pigmentation issues, or overly textured skin then a peel can be a great tool to improve your skin.

What Is a Chemical Peel
Chemical peels aim to reveal the beautiful, healthier skin that is hiding under the surface. This treatment works by applying chemicals that trigger the removal of dead or damaged skin cells from the face, hands, and/or neck. Our specialists will recommend the right level of chemical peel depending on your skin’s needs. Chemical peels exfoliate dry, aging skin to reveal younger, brighter skin. We’ve helped hundreds of men and women revive their complexion with the help of a professional chemical peel.
What Can I Expect from a Chemical Peel?
During the recovery process, you will see that the top layer of skin starts to peel and fall off, revealing your new and improved skin.
- Reduced appearance of fine lines
- Correction of sun damage
- Reduced acne
- Smoother appearance of scars
- Fewer pigment problems
- Better skin tone and texture
- Improved ability to absorb skin care products
What Does Recovery from a Chemical Peel Look Like?
The first day following a peel, your skin will have some redness. After a day, the dead skin will begin to shed. Your skin will quickly become dry and flaky, but don’t scrape or peel it before it sheds. Prematurely peeling skin can cause discoloration or other side effects. After 3 to 4 days, most of the peeling should be complete, although new skin may take 5 to 7 days. Skin should heal after 7 to 14 days. If you work inside, you shouldn’t need time off following a peel. Depending on your skin health and objectives, you may be able to schedule another peel in 3 to 9 months.
